Mario Longpre - 1965 Type 141

Near Sherbrooke, Quebec

The car started out as a 1965 convertible "wreck" as Mario puts it, after 2 1/2 years of some very hard work he definitely has something to be proud of, especially since he did all the work except for the engine and convertible top.  I can't think of a better reason or a better way to learn how to weld!  Here's how the car looked before...

Other upgrades include a narrowed beam with drop spindles and disc brakes.  After the car was finished Mario and his wife took the car for a little break-in trip, to visit their son in Halifax!
