I met the couple that owns this car at the last two Das Volks shows (they got the car running and brought it down for the 2006 show).  It had front end damage from an accident at which time the owner had fenders from a '59 coupe grafted on the replace the damaged originals.

Airdrie, Alberta

From what I can remember, this car was brought over from Germany (owner was in the military).  A few years ago the engine gave out so the car was parked.  Since then he gave the car to his son.  Unfortunately it's been sitting for a number of years.
