Blake Hiebert - 196* Type 343

Calgary, Alberta

Blake and a group of friends took a trip in 1995 down to the Seattle Vintage & Custom show.  On the trip home one of his friends (Ken King) decided to take a different way back than the rest of the group. He ended up going through Salmon Arm where he spotted a strange little blue car sitting in the parking lot of an antique auto museum.  Knowing that Blake was really interested in Type 34's he turned around , went in and left a deposit. A couple of weeks later they went back and brought it home. He sat on it for a few years before getting into it after some sage advice from a friend "Who cares if its rare, just drive it, that's what they are for". So an engine was built, it was adjusted a little closer to the pavement and it was back on the road.

Shortly after it came home.

Future plans include a turbo 1641, 4 wheel wide 5 disk brakes, 12 volt conversion and a newer home made interior.
